Public Computers & Wireless Internet

East Gwillimbury Public Library provides wireless access throughout the Holland Landing Community Centre and the Ross Family Complex.

To connect: look for the Public Hotspot signal on your wireless device. This may show up automatically on your device, or you can connect manually to the library’s internet through the settings page. After connecting, open your browser or internet option; you will be redirected to the Library's Wireless Agreement page where you will be asked to agree to our terms of use.

All wireless users are expected to act in a lawful and respectful manner. By connecting to the Library wireless network, users are required to conform to the conditions outlined in the Public Internet Use Policy.

Public Internet Stations

Those without their own computer or wireless device can use one of our Public Internet stations. These can be signed in using your library card, or by a staff member for patrons without library cards. These computers have multiple internet browsers and come with a full suite of office productivity software. Library Public Internet Stations do not have any filters for content, in line with our Public Internet Use Policy.

Children under 14 can access Public Internet stations with a Library card. If a parent does not wish for their child to have access to Public Internet Stations, they can complete a Parental Request for Internet Restriction Form, available within our Public Internet Use Policy document.
