French Conversation Circle

This is a program for adults local to East Gwillimbury or York Region.

Would you like to practice your conversational French in a fun supportive environment? Then join us for our Virtual French Conversation Circle. Registration is required to receive the link to the event.

The French Conversation Circle will be open every Tuesday at 4:30 - 5:30 pm for our local community to join and practice their conversational French with one another. The circle runs from September to June, and you are welcome to attend whenever you are available. Weekly attendance is not mandatory.

There are a few guidelines for this program:

• This program is for adults only.
• The French Conversation Circle runs virtually every Tuesday from 4:30-5:30 pm.
• Attendees must be local. This program is hosted by the East Gwillimbury Public Library, and we aim to provide support to our local French community.
• This is not a French class or tutoring class. This is a conversation circle where participants are encouraged to practice their French speaking and listening comprehension skills with each other. The conversation is driven by the attendees, not the facilitator.
• The conversation circle only occurs if there are 2 or more attendees.
• You do not need a Google account and can join the meeting as a guest.

After registering for the program, you will receive a welcome email with instructions and the Google Meeting link.
