Celebrating Pride at EGPL 2024

May 28, 2024 | 3 min read

The month of June is dedicated to uplifting 2SLGBTQ+ voices, celebrating the work and culture of 2SLGBTQ+ activists and community members. This month in particular has been dedicated in honour of the Stonewall Riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969.

The East Gwillimbury Public Library has Inclusion as one of its core values because at the Library everyone belongs. So read on to find out how you can best celebrate with us this month, either in the branch, out in the community, or cozied up and home with a good book.
